Research question

What evidence supports RLUSD identity, supply, reserves, redemption claims and market use across the XRP Ledger and other networks?

RLUSD research requires several evidence layers: exact token identifiers and ledger supply, issuer terms, monthly reserve materials, regulatory records and market data. None of those layers should silently substitute for another.

01 / Findings

What the evidence answers.

  1. 01

RLUSD must be identified by network and exact issuer or contract—not ticker alone.

  2. 02

A monthly attestation is not automatically a financial-statement audit.

  3. 03

A 1:1 redemption claim must be read with eligibility, process, timing, fee and jurisdiction terms.

02 / Analysis

How RLUSD reserves are evaluated

Compare the issuer's stated circulation and reserve composition with the independent practitioner's report for the same period, then reconcile against observable network supply where possible.

Each monthly record stores report period, publication date, management assertion, practitioner conclusion, reserve categories, reported circulation and any qualification or late publication state.

The evidence table labels Ripple statements, accountant attestations, NYDFS requirements, ledger observations and XRPAuthority calculations separately.

03 / Analysis

How RLUSD supply and market use are measured

Track mint and burn activity by network, then examine holder distribution and liquidity only with identity-safe, issuer-aware data.

On XRPL, the issuer account and currency code define the asset. Other networks require their exact contract identity. Cross-network totals must avoid double counting and record observation time.

Market price, reported volume, DEX/AMM depth, integrations and institutional use are separate measures. An integration announcement does not establish outstanding balances or transaction volume.

Methodology

How this XRP research was built.

  1. Preserve source type: issuer, regulator, attestor, ledger or market provider.
  2. Reconcile supply and reserves for matching reporting periods.
  3. Record exact network identifiers and redemption terms.
